What are employer match programs?

 Employer matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations. It’s an easy way to double contributions.

US Squash partners with a company called Double the Donation to help access employer match information.

How do I request a matching gift?

Requesting a matching gift or volunteer grant is a short process that must be initiated by the donor. This can be completed by filling out and submitting a match for provided by your employer. Please search our database (linked above) for company-specific information.

How do I submit a matching gift?

  1. Donate
  2. Log into your company’s matching gift submission website or click on the link provided in your follow-up email linking to this page
  3. Search for US Squash (or the United States Squash Racquets Association), EIN 16-6050490. If it does not populate, manually add this information
  4. Register the donation
  5. Submit the completed matching gift request to your employer.
 
Are matching gifts tax-deductible?
Your initial donation is tax-deductible but the matched gift from your employer is not tax-deductible. Tax deductions from contributions can only be claimed for gifts made directly to the nonprofit of your choosing.
